CR Legal Team Origin Story
For more than 35 years, CR Legal Team has seen the devastating impact to those who have been injured in accidents through no fault of their own. We have witnessed the tragedy and trauma suffered by those who try to rebuild their lives when they are suddenly and unexpectedly thrown into an uncertain future. It has been our honor to work for our clients and communities to level the playing field against insurance companies and others in a world where things are so often unfair. At our core, our Brand Promise is to “Stand Up For You” by staying true to our Mission to “Seek Justice for our Clients and Communities” and by following through with our core values – “Care Like Family, Listen To Learn and Do What’s Right.”
Chris and Kimberly Roberts met in 1992 and were married in 1994. As they built their life and family together, they were drawn to create something larger – an extension of their family that would be committed to serving others in the ways that had been modeled by their parents and grandparents. As an Eagle Scout, Chris had committed himself to service in his community and, as a performer and person of deep faith, Kimberly had spent countless hours partnering with organizations within her community to improve the lives of the people who live and work there. They met in law school as kindred spirits on the road to a life where faith, family, authenticity, honesty and service became the foundation – with the cornerstone of it all being their love and commitment to each other.
Chris and Kimberly are honored to work with a larger Team of people who share their same core values and sincere passion for serving others. In the end, this is a family business and, in a world, where that is becoming less popular, we don’t apologize for it, we celebrate it because that family is built on a strong foundation that continues to be of benefit to our clients, our communities and our Team Members. CR Legal Team is truly a Team of experienced and dedicated individuals who work each day to Stand Up For and seek justice for our clients and communities. 35 years in the legal industry has brought billions of dollars in recovery for our clients, thousands of five-star reviews and hundreds of years of combined legal experience on our Team. Through all of this, there has been 1 focus – service. With so many years of helping those who were injured, our CR Legal Team began to identify repeating patterns and recognize similarities in the cases we were working on. As a Team, we drew a conclusion that a many of the accidents and serious injuries that come to us could actually be prevented when a strong emphasis is put on education, safety and wellness using what we have learned during these years in our legal practice and using new information that we learn each day through the network we have created in our industry.
Chris and Kimberly, along with their larger Team, began to imagine a personal injury firm that not only helps and serves people when they are injured in an accident, but actively works to make sure those accidents never happen. In 2014, imagination became reality when they created The Roberts Center for Leadership, Education, Advancement and Development. The mission of The Roberts Center is to Encourage, Empower and Change Lives. The Center seeks to inspire future leaders to carry on a mission of serving others in the community as they enter the legal field as well as fields dedicated to wellness, safety, technology and innovation. The Roberts Center is home to two foundations that provide scholarships to people of all ages and stages in life, with four scholarships being specifically women focused. The Center offers free bicycle helmets with helmet fittings, free car seat safety checks, anti-bullying and on-line safety programs for children of all ages as well as hands only CPR instruction to all who wish to learn. The Roberts Center supports non-profit leaders in the community as well as small businesses and minority-owned in the communities served by CR Legal Team. It also celebrates Team Members by recognizing their “servant’s heart” with a $5000 award to a charitable organization for which they have worked and advocated. Past recipients of the monetary award have included animal shelters, camps that serve children with special needs, organizations that promote mental health initiatives, food ministries, elementary school education programs and Kenyan Water Relief Projects. All programs offered through The Roberts Center are funded with proceeds from fees received by CR Legal Team in its core business of representing and seeking justice for those who have been injured through no fault of their own.
Not only does CR Legal Team provide legal help by experienced, dedicated and empathetic attorneys and support Team Members that has a proven track record of getting favorable outcomes and results for our clients, we pour a significant portion of money received in our fees back into our communities to prevent that accident from ever happening to someone else. At CR Legal Team, everything comes full circle – full Circle CR.
